At the end of Year 6, your child will transfer to secondary school. Our Year 6 usually transfer to either Oldbury Wells in Bridgnorth (catchment school) or Bridgnorth Endowed. Although many children to do go on to a number of other secondary schools too.
In the Autumn Term, parents are sent information regarding the transfer to secondary school. This includes information about open evenings where you can go and see the schools either during the day or in the evening. You then have the opportunity to select the school you feel will offer the education you wish for your child.
The closing date for applications is 31st October.
As a primary school, we do spend time liaising with the secondary schools to ensure the smoothest possible transfer for the children.
