This week for English we are looking at The Truth about Trolls by Dean Thompson. This will be the last unit of work for English this term.

Monday

Look at and complete the activities up to the bottom of page 9.

Tuesday

Re read the information about Trolls from pages 4 and 5 and then complete the activities from pages 10, 11 and 12.

Wednesday

Look at and complete the activity on page 13 and then use pages 14 and 15 to plan ideas for writing information about Trolls.

Thursday 

Write the first three paragraphs of your information about Trolls. Focus on writing the introduction to your information, what do trolls look like? and where do trolls live?

Friday

Finish writing your information today writing about what do trolls eat? and Did you know?

This week we are looking at Journey to the Jungle by Maria Richards. I have split up the booklet over the course of this week and have put the activities below:

Monday

Please look at pages 2 – bottom of page 6 and complete the activities

Tuesday

Re-read the story and answer the comprehension questions on page 7. Then have a look at and complete the activities on pages 8, 9 and 10.

Wednesday 

Re-read the story and then look at and complete the activities on pages 11-13.

Thursday

Look at page 14 down to ‘Well done! How about publishing your log?’ Write a draft jungle log of your own.

Friday 

Look at and redraft your jungle log that you wrote yesterday and then create an explorer log. See page 14 in your booklet for instructions on how to make an explorer log.
