It is also Inter-Faith week and a good time to celebrate diversity and each others’ beliefs. Harkirat and Ranveer celebrated Bandi Chhorr Divas which is celebrated on the same day as the Hindu festival of Diwali.

On Sunday, India and Darcey represented the school in the laying of a wreath at the Remembrance service.

In celebration assembly, we had lots to be proud of it is great to share all of our children’s achievements.

Today, we have taken part in Children in Need. Thank you for donating on the Just Giving page. You can still do this if you wish to.

Red Class Homework update

We have given all of the children log-ins to Ed Shed. These are stuck inside their reading diaries – they have the username and password. The children have had a go at logging on and finding their assignments. We have set a link to the spelling games for this week’s pattern – prefix ‘in’, maths and tables.

You need to use your Edshed log on and password. This will take you to both Spelling Shed and Maths Shed.

We are happy to receive any feedback and if you have any problems, please contact us.

Kind regards

Mrs Harper-Jones and Mrs Derrer

Spellings for 10.11.23 (Red)

The spellings this week have the prefix ‘in’ meaning – not. The children all have a list of the words which we have discussed in our lesson today. They will be bringing home a list of the words and we are trying a new scheme to encourage them to learn and remember their spellings.

All children have a log in to ‘Edshed.com’. We have looked at this today. Children need to select the Spelling Shed and they have been assigned a task relating to the spellings we are learning. This is the first week so please see if your child can get on at home and play some of the games relating to ‘in’. These can be found by clicking on assignments.
