Christmas is Coming

Green Class have been busy making our Christmas decorations.

Children took it in turns to roll out their salt dough before choosing what shapes they wanted for their design. They then carefully placed their choice of gems into the dough and left them to air dry.

A King is Born!

Well done Green Class for a fantastic performance!

All of Green Class have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks to practise their lines and learn all of the songs in preparation for our re-telling of the nativity story.

Present from Santa!

Green Class have had a special delivery!

Santa delivered us the story The Jolly Christmas Postman and his elves had set up some activities for us around the classroom.

We had a Santa’s Workshop where we could decorate the tree, design and make a toy and wrap Christmas presents.

We also had a Jolly Postman Post Office where we could write letters and Christmas cards and put them in the post box ready to send.

We practised our phonics by building snowmen, we segmented the word and chose the correct grapheme to match.

We could make gingerbread men out of playdough and decorated them with buttons and ribbon.

Green Class Homework

Children will be set one piece of homework each week. The homework will relate to an aspect of the children’s learning from that week in order to consolidate their knowledge. This will be sent home with children on a Thursday and should be brought back into School by the following Tuesday.
