Blue Homework 28.1.22

Homework this week is on Classroom Secrets Kids – all children have been given a login.

Both year 5 and 6 have a reading comprehension- From Bean to Bar. This involves reading a section at a time, and answering different types of questions. This activity will take longer than the exercises on Purple Mash so take your time to answer the questions correctly finding the evidence from the text.

Maths homework for year 5 is more revision of percentages as fractions and decimals. T his is also on Classroom Secrets Kids.

Year 6 are doing page 46 and 47 from their workbook focussing on Percentage problems.

We have been delighted by the enthusiasm the children have shown for their Bookfest books and there is lots of swapping and recommendations going on. Please encourage your children to keep reading. If they find a book difficult to read alone, why not share the reading at home- taking it in turn to read a chapter/ page each. I have read all the books and they are entertaining for adults and children.

Have a great weekend and remember your homework needs to be in by Wednesday.
