Mrs Summerfield has created a bingo game for you all, you can either print off the pictures attached below or make your own bingo cards.
Year 1
We are moving onto phase 6 of Letters and Sounds now. To begin with we are looking at adding suffixes to the end of words.

Literacy
This week is all about pirates. You could have a look at this book, Jake’s First Day or read any book you have at home about pirates.
For today’s activity I would like you to create pirate descriptions. You could choose a character from Jake’s First Day or your own book. Think about what they look like, their personality and where they live.
Maths
Reception
This week we are looking at doubling. Make sure your child knows that doubling means twice as many. Whenever they are working with doubles encourage to say it e.g double 2 is 4.
Start by watching numberblocks. For today’s activity build a tower or thread beads onto a string. Ask your child to build the double e.g if your tower is 4 cubes tall they need to build theirs 8 bricks tall. Each time they make a double encourage them to say the sentence e.g double 4 is 8.
