We are delighted to inform you that your child has access to Purple Mash. Letters have been sent home this week with details of your child’s log in.
Purple Mash is a comprehensive suite of online learning tools and content, designed for children aged 3-11 in the classroom and at home. Purple Mash supports learning through its resources, games and creative tools, tailored to the school curriculum.
Purple Mash is a learning tool for you to enjoy at home with your child in Reception and Year 1 at your leisure. In Reception and Year 1, we will not set any homework for children to complete on Purple Mash.
Log in and familiarise yourself with the activities and enjoy supporting your child in their learning journey.
Below is a short video which outlines the main features of Purple Mash.

As part of your child’s account, you have access to a ‘Parent Portal’. Details of how to set up your account will be listed below. In Reception and Year 1, the sections which will be most relevant to you are:
“Work
Any work that a teacher has commented on will appear here as well as any work that a child has wished to share with their parent.”
“Access Pupil View
Parents are able to see a Pupil View of Purple Mash, this is particularly helpful if a parent wishes to work with their child on a task or in the unfortunate event that a child has temporarily misplaced their login card. Parents will be prompted with a password screen which will ask for their Parent Portal password they would have created at registration.”
Details of how to set up your ‘Parent Portal’ account can be found in the document below.
