Thank you for the ongoing support you have been giving to your children with their weekly spellings. Children in Year 1 will continue to be given their new weekly spellings every Friday for their spelling test on the following Friday, giving the children one full week to learn and practise their spellings. These will be sent home and posted on the school website.

As you know, just like adults, children have their own unique way of learning. This is something that we actively encourage and support. Here are few ideas to help your child learn their new set of spellings each week. Please select the method that best supports your child’s learning style.
